Chesslife

Whether you want to start at the basics, or whether you want to improve your skills, chesslife can cater for your needs in South Australia and specifically the Adelaide Hills. Chesslife is run by David Koetsier who has been a chess coach for over 20 years. He teaches chess to primary and secondary students in the Adelaide Hills and wider Adelaide region. This is done in group sessions at schools (before class, during lunch break and during after school care), at chess clubs (Campbelltown library and Adelaide Hills), via private classes (one on one at the students home) and online (using Skype and online chess programs). Chesslife also sells all equipment required for chess; workbooks, teacher’s manuals, boards, pieces and clocks.

Bill Jordan

FIDE Master Bill Jordan has a fine history in chess:
  • Australian Junior Champion in 1974
  • Australian Postal Champion in 1997
  • Ex-president of the Melbourne Chess Club
  • Computer chess-software programmer
  • Long list of state and national tournament honours
Bill is a very experienced individual and group coach. He has a very deep understanding of chess. He is also an IT trainer.

Chess coaching can take many forms. Coaching can take place at a school, chess club or at your home. Other venues are possible.
