Pennant Teams Competition 2019

When:  7:15 for 7:30 p.m start on consecutive Tuesdays, from 24th of September until the 19th of November
Venue: The Chess Centre of South Australia,
10 Ranelagh Street, Adelaide.
Entry Fee: $10 a night, $7 concession (Seniors, Students, Unemployed).
This tournament is open to all players.
Players are expected to play all rounds or be able to organise a replacement.
Format: 9 round ACF-rated teams competition.
4 players per team, Swiss Draw or Round Robin.
Time Control: Fischer – 60 Minutes + 30 Seconds a move

City of Adelaide Open 2019

When:  7:00 p.m start on consecutive Tuesdays, from 23rd of July until the 17th of September
Venue: The Chess Centre of South Australia,
10 Ranelagh Street, Adelaide.
Entry Fee: $130 Adult, $110 Concession. Late entry fee +$10 (all entries after 12pm 23rd of July).
This tournament is open to all players.
Players who enter are expected to play all rounds..
Format: 9 Rounds, Swiss System. FIDE and ACF rated.
Time Control:  Fischer system: 90 minutes + 30 seconds per move.
Prizes:
1st: $500
2nd: $300
3rd: $200
Rating Performance: $150

Interclub Teams Competition 2018

Venue: The Chess Centre of South Australia,
10 Ranelagh Street, Adelaide.
Entry Fee: $10 a night, $7 concession (Seniors, Students, Unemployed).
This tournament is open to all players.
Players are expected to play all rounds or be able to organize a replacement.
Format: A and B Grades:
9 round ACF-rated teams competition.
4 players per team, Swiss Draw or Round Robin.
New C Grade:
ACF-rated teams competition.
Players rated U1000 or unrated only.
Players are not required to record their moves
Time Control:  A and B grades: Fischer – 60 Minutes + 30 Seconds a move
C Grade: Fischer – 15 Minutes + 10 Seconds a move. 2 games per round to finish by 9.00pm.
