SA Rapid Chess Championship 2026

One of South Australia’s Championship events!

The winner keeps the title of SA Rapid Chess Champion until this time next year – where someone will try to take the crown!

When: 12.00pm, Sunday the 23rd of August, 2026
Venue: The Chess Centre of South Australia,
10 Ranelagh Street, Adelaide.
Entry Fee: $20 all players ($17 early bird fee for entries paid by 9th August)
Registrations given after 10pm on the 22nd of August will incur a $5 late fee.

Free entry to W/GM and W/IMs, %50 discount to W/FM applicants
Format: Seven rounds, Swiss system. ACF & FIDE Rated.
Time Control: Fischer Rapid – 15 minutes + 10 seconds

Registered Players, Pairings and Results

International players must have a FIDE ID from their home federation before the start of the tournament. International players who do not have a FIDE ID before the start of the tournament will not be allowed to play.
