This event runs alongside The Checkmate FIDE Challengers 2024.

When:	Friday 12th to Sunday 14th of July, 2024
Venue:	The Chess Centre of South Australia, 10 Ranelagh Street, Adelaide.
Entry Fee:	Adult – $100 Concession – $80 (Seniors, Juniors, Students, Unemployed). Free entry to W/GM and W/IM applicants
Format:	6 rounds, Swiss System. FIDE rated. FIDE Rules apply.
Time Control	90 Minutes + 30 Seconds a move. Forfeit time is 30 minutes from commencement of play.
Round Times:	Friday: 7:00 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM, 2:00 PM, 7:00 PM Sunday: 9:00 AM, 2:00 PM
	Players may request ONE half point bye in Rounds 1 – 5 with prior approval from the arbiter.
Prizes:	1st: $500 2nd: $300 3rd: $200 Top Junior: $150 Rating Performance: $150 Rating Bracket: $150

International players must have a FIDE ID from their home federation before the start of the tournament. International players who do not have a FIDE ID before the start of the tournament will not be allowed to play.
